"Thruxton was a track I have never really done well at in the past, however I came into this weekend with a positive mental attitude and had our sights on our first win of the year.
"We started off with our first front row of the year with a lap time which was under the old lap record! I felt really good in race one and thought I had the perfect plan to win the race. Unfortunately there was a big tangle up at the last corner and I came out one of the worst finishing in fourth. But we did manage to close the championship lead a little bit.
"Race 2 was even better. I learned from my mistakes in race one and had an epic battle with the championship leader. I timed my pass as well as I possibly could and got second position into the last corner on the last lap. This was vital for the championship and I have to keep this momentum up. Cadwell Park is in two weeks. See you there!"
